Getting started
What ages do you coach?
We welcome boys and girls aged 4–16. Players train in groups with children of a similar age and ability, so everyone is challenged and has fun.
Does my child need football experience?
Not at all. Complete beginners are very welcome. Our coaches meet every child where they are and help them build confidence, skills and friendships.
How do I register?
Create a free parent account, complete your profile and add your child’s details. You can then book a free trial or start training from your dashboard.
Free trial
Is the trial really free?
Yes. Each child can have one free trial session on any Saturday you choose, so they can meet the coaches and see if they enjoy it. There is no obligation to carry on.
When can we come for a trial?
Any Saturday the academy is open. Pick a date on the calendar in your dashboard, up to 12 weeks ahead. Saturdays when we’re closed (e.g. holidays) can’t be booked.
Do we have to do a trial first?
No, the trial is optional. If your child is ready to go, you can start paid training straight away.
Training & payment
How much does it cost?
£40 per child for every 4 Saturday sessions. Training runs every week, and if you have two children the total is worked out for you automatically.
When do we start, and when do we pay?
Start on any Saturday, this week or next. You pay only when your child starts, not in advance. Your 4 sessions are worked out for you, e.g. starting 10 Oct gives 10, 17, 24 and 31 Oct.
How do payments work after that?
It’s a rolling membership. Your card is charged £40 automatically for each next block of 4 sessions, 7 days before the block starts, until you cancel. You’ll get an email with the dates every time.
How do I cancel?
Go to My training in your dashboard and cancel at least a week before the next block starts. There will be no further payments, and your child finishes the sessions already paid for. If you cancel later than that, the next block will already have been charged, so your child finishes that block too.
Can I get a refund for missed sessions?
No. Payments are non-refundable, including for missed sessions or if your child stops part-way through a block, so please come along on every allocated Saturday. If we close on one of your Saturdays, that session moves to the end of your block, so you never lose a session we cancel.
Can I pay by cash or bank transfer?
Payments are made securely online by card, which keeps the rolling membership simple. If you have a problem paying by card, please contact the academy.
Can I see my payment history?
Yes. Every payment appears in Payment history in your dashboard, with a printable receipt showing the Saturdays it covers.
Sessions & safety
What should my child bring?
Comfortable sports clothes, football boots or trainers, shin pads, a filled water bottle and a coat for cold or wet weather. Please label everything!
Are your coaches qualified and DBS checked?
All coaches hold recognised coaching qualifications and enhanced DBS checks, and are trained in safeguarding and first aid.
What happens if a session is cancelled because of the weather?
If a session must be cancelled for safety reasons, we will email all enrolled parents as early as possible and arrange a make-up session where we can.
Do parents stay during sessions?
Parents are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area. Children under 8 must have a parent or guardian on site for the whole session.
