About these terms
These terms apply to every parent or guardian ("you") who registers with Little Legends Football Academy ("we", "us") and to the children you register with us. By creating an account and ticking the box to accept these terms, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of each child you register and that you are aged 18 or over.
Your account
- You must give accurate, complete and up-to-date information for yourself and each child, including emergency contact, medical and additional-needs information.
- You must confirm your email address before you can use your account.
- Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Please tell us straight away about changes to your child’s health, needs or contact details.
Sessions & free trials
- Training and free trials take place on Saturdays only, every week except Saturdays the academy has closed (shown as unavailable when booking).
- Each child can have one free trial session on a Saturday of your choice. Trials are optional, free of charge and do not guarantee a place.
- We may place children in groups by age and ability, and may move a child between groups.
Membership & payment
- Training is a rolling membership. The fee is currently £40 per child for each block of 4 Saturday sessions. The fee is shown before you pay and may change for future blocks; we will tell you before a change applies to you.
- You choose the Saturday your child starts, which must be within the next two available Saturdays. You pay for the first block when you book, not further in advance. The 4 session dates are set automatically from the start date.
- By paying for the first block, you authorise us to charge the same card automatically for each following block of 4 sessions, 7 days before that block starts, until you cancel. We email you the dates and a receipt after every payment.
- If an automatic payment fails, we will email you and try again. If it has not been paid by the first Saturday of the new block, your child’s training is paused until you start again.
- Payments are made by card and processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Cancelling & refunds
- Notice: to stop training, cancel in your dashboard (My training) at least one week (7 days) before the next block starts. No further payments will be taken, and your child keeps the sessions already paid for. If you cancel after that point, the next block will already have been charged, and your child’s membership ends after that block.
- No refunds: payments are non-refundable, including for sessions your child misses (illness, holidays, etc.) and if your child stops part-way through a block. Missed sessions cannot be carried over. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- If we close on a Saturday you have paid for (for example because of severe weather or an unsafe pitch), that session moves to the next available Saturday at the end of your block, so you receive every session you paid for. We will email you the new dates.
Behaviour & safety
- Players, parents and spectators must follow our code of conduct and treat coaches, players and other families with respect.
- We may remove a player from a session, or end their membership without refund, for serious or repeated misbehaviour or if their safety or others’ is at risk.
- Children must be dropped off and collected on time by a parent or an authorised adult. Children under 8 must have a parent or guardian on site throughout.
- Please read our Safeguarding Policy.
Health, medical & injury
Football is a physical activity and carries some risk of injury. Our coaches are first-aid trained and follow safe coaching practice. You confirm that your child is fit to take part, and that you have told us about any medical conditions, allergies, medication or additional needs. In an emergency, you authorise our staff to seek medical treatment for your child if we cannot reach you.
Photos & videos
We only use photographs or videos of your child for academy publicity if you have given photo consent in your child’s profile. You can change this at any time from your dashboard.
Our liability
We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property brought to sessions. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we will tell you by email and ask you to accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
